This is one of the last series of 34 cars; powered by a Ford 5.8 Litre V8 engine instead of the Chevrolet Corvette unit of earlier Grifos.
The original Giugiaro design was modified by Iso at the front with pop-up headlights and the so-called "penthouse". The penthouse is the large square air intake on the hood which became necessary because the Ford engine was taller and didn't fit in the original engine compartment.
