The Voisin C11 was the first model with a 6-cylinder sleeve-valve engine after the Knight patent from this prestigious French manufacturer. It had 2326 cc displacement and could power the car up to 120 kph. This model (chassis name "Chasidim") proved to be one of the more successful Voisin cars: between 1926 and 1928 about 2200 were made.
Shown here is the so-called Técalémit car (chassis 25753), named after the adjustable shocks company of car owner Joseph Christe, who had fitted his company's emblem on top of the radiator (now replaced by the original Voisin mascot). He didn't order a Voisin body from the catalogue but had the chassis fitted with a bespoke body by old established Paris coachbuilder Belvalette.
