Mercedes 200 sport roadster 1934

In the Classic Park museum this car was identified as a Mercedes 170 (W15) sport roadster from 1936. More recently a new owner (Nijsmans Classic Cars from Deurne, Belgium) displayed the same car as a Mercedes 200 (W21) sport roadster from 1934. It's hard to tell who's right since both types use practically the same chassis, it has a bespoke "Sindelfingen" body and both sport roadster versions are extremely rare. Only by looking at the engine (either 1.7 or 2.0 liter displacement) the true designation can be established.
Since the replacement 170 V (W136) model was introduced in February 1936 and the production of the preceding 170 (W15) sport roadster is generally thought to be from 1932 till 1934, I think the 200 (W21) sport roadster from 1934 designation is more likely...
