DB Panhard HBR 5 MM by Chausson 1956

This car produced by the little company of Frenchmen Charles Deutsch and René Bonnet took part in the 1957 edition of the famous Itlalian Mille Miglia race. The fiberglass body was made by coachbuilder Chausson, who produced the bodies of the first 100 HBR 5 cars after which the molds and tooling were sold to DB. Those early bodies can be recognized by the pop-up headlights, later bodies had headlights behind plexiglass fairings.
