2017 Antwerp Concours - Wijnegem (B)

Before World War II offered two lines of luxury cars: the PV (Personvagn) models for private owners and the TR (Trafikvagn) models for commercial use, mostly as taxis. The TR670 series was introduced in 1930 and based on the PV651 of 1929. Most important difference was that the TR models were longer and seated 7 people. Between 1930 and 1935 ten series were made of which the TR679 was the last. Only produced in 1934 and just 114 cars were made.
It was powered by a 3.3 Litre 6 cylinder engine, producing 70 hp. In 1935 it was replaced by the TR701, which looked slightly more aerodynamic and had a more powerful engine.
