Skoda has had a chequered past; in the times of the Iron Curtain the company was reduced to producing cheap, obsolete rear engined cars and now it's sort of the B-choice of the Volkswagen concern. But up to the 1950s it was a proud marque with a broad range of cars. Next to affordable small cars and commercial vehicles there were also luxurious and prestigious cars.
This Model 645 was a middle class luxury car which was made from 1929 till 1934 and was very alike to any contemporary American touring sedan. It was powered by a 6 cylinder 2.5 Litre engine and was able to reach a top speed of 90 kph. Around 758 were made with various body styles.
