Fafnir was a German manufacturer which produced cars between 1904 and 1926. Remarkably, their first model, called the Omnimobil, was actually a do-it-yourself car for which Fafnir only sold a set comprising an engine, a gearbox and a transmission. From 1910 complete cars were offered.
This particular car started life as a 4-cylinder phaeton but was converted to a pick-up for hauling coal in 1930. A 5 year long restoration was started in 2007 and now it's one of the few surviving cars of this marque.
