2019 Antwerp Classic Salon - Antwerpen (B)

This Mini-based kit car started its long career in 1967 as the Cox GTM, created by Bernard Cox and Jack Hosker. GTM stood for Grand Touring Mini and it was popular right of the bat. The garage based facility of Bernard Cox couldn't keep up with demand, so in 1968, after producing about 50 kits, he decided to sell the project.
After that the car was renamed into the GTM Coupe and produced by various consecutive companies up to 2001. During its lifespan the kit received a number of updates (called variations) to improve quality and keep it up to date. Around 800 of these kit were sold in total.
