Lamborghini Diablo S1 SE30 Jota 1995
2019 Antwerp Classic Salon - Antwerpen (B)

If the 525 horsepower of the Special Edition 30 Diablo was not enough for you, or if you wanted to turn that car into a proper race car, then Lamborghini offered the Jota upgrade kit. Power went up to 595 hp, with extensive modifications to the engine and the ECU. It also warranted a new engine cover with two air intakes extending above the roof, the most noticeable clue for the Jota version of the SE30 (and later a feature of the Diablo SV).
The Jota upgrade also made the Diablo SE30 unfit for use on the open road, mostly because it was extremely loud. Still a number of owners found a way to register their cars as road legal. Only 28 Jota kits were made, of which 12 were installed by the factory and most of the rest by local dealers. This makes the SE30 Jota one of the rarest Diablos around.
