Wendler Mercedes 320 cabriolet 1950
2019 Classic Days Schloss Dyck - Aldenhoven (D)

Coach builder Wendler from Reutlingen, Germany designed and built this modern looking but rather large car for the 1950 Reutlingen Motorshow. It's based on the chassis of a 1936 Mercedes 320 (type W142) and only one was made. The spare wheels are hidden by panels in the fenders behind the front wheels on either side of the car: a feature that was later adopted by British manufacturer Bristol.
