La Ponette ("The Pony") was a French car manufacturer located in the Seine region. It produced cars from 1909 till 1925 and production amounted up to 700 cars in total. The first models were simple light cars with small single cylinder engines like the one shown here. Later models were more conventional designs powered by larger multi-cylinder engines from Ballot or SCAP.
