LeGrand Cheetah Mk 2 BMW H Mod sportscar 1964
2016 Classic Days Schloss Dyck - Aldenhoven (D)

LeGrand was a specialist racing car manufacturer from California. It was established by Aldin LeGrand in 1962. Best known were their small engined sportscars, but cars for all sorts of (American) racing classes were build and even a couple of street legal cars. The first designs were sold under the Cheetah name, until that name was contested by another American manufacturer. Production ended in 1991.
This early design is powered by a BMW 700 engine. About 6 were made, powered by various engines. The Italian style bodywork fitted on this car is not original though what was original is hard to say, because most of these cars were sold as kits.
