Aston Martin 1.5 Litre side valve long chassis tourer by Jarvis 1925
2016 Antwerp Concours - Wijnegem (B)

One of the last cars built by the original Bamford & Martin company. The 2/4 seater body is one of two made by Jarvis of Wimbledon, London. Some sources suggest the body was made by Albany Carriage Co. of Hanwell, London, but that seems to be incorrect. This has probably something to do with Arthur Compton, who made many sports car designs for Jarvis but started his own coachbuilding company in 1930 in the Hanwell factory formerly used by Albany.
