This model is known as the third series of the Type 603, or as model 1968. The 603 was introduced in 1956 and was the last of the famous streamlined Tatras. It was produced for nearly 20 years and the last version was priced more than twice as much as the first. Still 20,422 of them were sold in total. Not bad for a luxury car produced in a communist country.
It has a 2.5 Litre air-cooled V8 engine in the back which produced 105 hp and was renown for its durability. Maximum speed was 170 kph for this large car.
